Lunches must meet specific nutrient requirements and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. This means menus planned and offered to students must meet one-third of the Recommended Dietary Allowances for calories and key nutrients. Meals are also expected to meet guidelines for lower fat, sodium, and sugar content while including more fiber, whole grains, fresh fruits, and vegetables.
Meal Prices: Managing Your Student’s Account
Talk to your School cafeteria cashier about getting a record of your child’s purchases or restricting sales (such as “lunch only”, “snacks on Fridays only”, and so on.)
Your check should include your full name, driver's license number, street address, and phone number. By presenting your check, you authorize service charges and processing fees to be debited from your account. If you have questions about a returned check, contact us at (803) 536-7034
