and this afternoon Thursday August 27th 1986 it was a property 6:07 if you could and we will recite our mission statement the mission I felt in laboratory charged you to provide rigorous creative diverse learning environment through science technology engineering Arts make a motion to adopt the agenda power preceding the adopt the agenda minutes fearing God Financial on the line yes I'm here access now okay hold on 1 second can you guys see the screen yes okay okay we'll go ahead and start with the key the bank accounts ending in July with 2.3 million we had a net operating income of 96 the base funding was 282,000 and we still have 73,000 due from the district for the grant um our Revenue in 2025 was 31616 in 2026 we're at 315 so very close um in our Revenue year-over-year is 42025 we are at 342,000 and in 2026 we were at 304 so year-over-year last year July we had a deficit of 25,000 and in 2026 we have a surplus of 906 is there any questions not at this time foreign members we are having to include the 27 the emergency plan um have you all had an opportunity opportunity to review that emergency plan that we have so um what we will do Dr Greg from going into executive session at the General Session and oh yes so report that good afternoon board members of parents um and our Felton family that's on line today I have the opportunity I miss her but the assistant director here at Hilton we have had a busy month in the month of August so I want to give you a few updates of what has taken place and what it will continue as we finish the month of August so on August the 13th our PTO host a movie night our resident is online it was a very successful the students here at Felton on August the 19th we were um honored to have secretary superintendent need from South Carolina public church is it on campus um from that visit we have been honored to um attend their next board meeting um September the 10th so just want to keep that date in mind um our students will be able to travel to to South Carolina that takes place at 10 September all this is the 20th we've hosted a Title 1 manual standing um annual meeting to provide our families with 1 Title 1 school is required what we do how we do how we sustain the funds that we receive from Title 1 on that night we also our parents had the opportunity to speak with each teacher and see their interest so we're already halfway through the first quarter believe that or not um we are already have make themselves that all teachers were present so that they could speak to them concerning their students are currently the parents also was able to receive we finishing our fall with assessment so now they know they'll be beginning to The Benchmark whether children are starting to hear all so they received that information as well on that evening on August the 25th and 26 we want out of the NIT um nit is the National Institute for excellence in teaching to do an instructional walk through with leadership and administrative and coaches um we were able to just about every classroom within the 2 days um provide feedback um and we did it together so that we could provide effective feedback to our teachers um to move forward in this on August the 27th I want to say we want to thank um to recognize Mr Jason Fowler from the Divinity director of military Affairs and Rihanna Duncan um the community Card Maker the change of our student and made us a generous donation of school supplies to Felton uh we truly appreciate their support for our students staff and our school just want to give you an additional update um our administrative team have been accepted into the leadership program through the South Carolina Department of Education this year so we will all be taking leadership development um the program this year and that concludes my announcements do you have any questions concerns so Jason Mr Jason Fowler is the deputy director of military force Rihanna Duncan is the community coordinator with the military child education and supply and so parents and we would like to share I know we thank you for being patient been made we've made many changes on the procedures of entering and exiting as we begin on Monday we would like to share this information with you Felton parents we will winter day 5 and proceed behind shm toward the football field parents will then drive on to Felton Field behind the school where the playground and drop off students behind the school where a Felton staff will be present to your students to their classroom again we will begin on Monday breakthrough gave God you will proceed behind shm toward the football field you will drive unto Belton field and drop students off behind the scenes where our staff will be there to ask for the students to their classroom after dropping your students all parents will exit Felton field and leave campus through 1 Gate 1 is the 1 right in front of the football is stated so once you drop them off you will exit through Gate 1 and hope that if you have um as we move forward this will be a call out just to remind of the new procedures if you have any questions please reach out to us tomorrow so we can ensure that we have a new transition and eliminate the congestion that we've been having in the morning work afternoon any questions uh just I have a portion in regards to okay so um our dates have been this a monthly and each 1 of us have received dates okay and as far as could you just kind of share with the parents that the changes will tracking is not something that felt like it was so long you know just a body by so they don't know um as you see um this is coming from South Carolina state I know they made the changes for safety of the campus but this is after meeting today this is coming from Rochester and our SLO policy um as a procedure to follow for the safety of being on campus and to ensure that our families and our students um her and answering and exit then as drop off any questions for us call okay um like standing for you giving me updates on Century um wanted to just remind you that I said I was going opens a little differently this year none of the main things that I did differently this year like you were part of the registration process of bringing in the school year when you allowed parents to sign up for 246 at that time and in the course of the 65 parents find their children to be part of so I gave her really a head start on the number 1 leading and then being able to get our support staff and so I can say as of today this is our third week we said that we such at work we started a month earlier than last year that was of August outside thank you you started on the The Gentle August and we started last year last week so September and right now we have 66 you have a waiting list um so parents you are more than welcome to sign and send an application for the waiting list and as soon as the space becomes we'll go by first and foremost with the waiting list um we have great news we have had 5 days of on-time pickup if you truly appreciate that families thank you so much it means a lot to us that we we enjoy being with them from 3 to 6 you know parents need the additional time for work and at 6 oclock and our programmes over it just makes us feel wonderful that we can go home and get some more rest to come back to it again the next day so thank you very very very much we don't take that rightly um and so I have to say this our process for your legs so that people understand from the first time is a war right she puts them as a warning second time the child but at the same time we can talk about what we can do we've got 3 hours from dismissal to 65 that's plenty of time we feel we need to be able to make sure that your child's keep the and unfortunately that third seems really really that is not something that we enjoy doing let me know don't want to have to have conversations with but on the same I've already had to send out 5 warning 1 and I think that that's helping to get there and see um 1 of the events that we're planning I was talking to our ESO or Mrs Humper mentioned and I would love for him to plan with us a parent information session on online saves we want to look for because our kids are still social active online parents don't know about and so I wanted to be able to bring that information to our kids and so of course for 21st century parents but also for our community so partners that would like to work with us in after school to volunteer to bring reach out to me so we need those in the same process as a school background check and then you'd be able to come in we get you on the schedule but part of the problem is making connection so 21st century um the other thing I wanted to talk about was at our um back to school night our open house 8th grade information so that information is forthcoming if you were there you got the right down the dates for graduation you got the um 8th grade fees and so I'm looking to send that parents who are not here and we're trying to start a big too much earlier this year so that way we have a little bit more running more than
